How Security Window Film Works
When a smash-and-grab attempt or seismic event breaks the glass, the security film keeps the shards bonded into a single sheet. Intruders cannot reach through, glass does not spray into the room, and forced-entry attempts take 60+ seconds longer — long enough for alarms and witnesses to respond.
For maximum performance, security film can be paired with a structural anchor (Dow 995 silicone or a mechanical attachment) that bonds the filmed glass to the window frame.
